SETA SKILLS DEVELOPMENT ACT
To improve the overall skill set of the citizens and increase their productivity, the SETA Skills Development Act was introduced in 1998 by the Government in South Africa. The Government wants business to invest in training the labour and educating them.
Companies need to pay Skills Development Levies (SDLs) to the Government and appoint a Skills Development Facilitator. They also need to submit the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report to their SETA by the 30th of June of each year.
Are you a fresh graduate out of school or college looking for a job? Then a SETA End User Computing qualification is ideal for candidates like you. College Africa Group provides accredited training courses in Excel 2010, Word 2010 and PowerPoint 2010 and on completion of the course, your assessment documentation are submitted to MICT SETA for accreditation.
